Bohemond II of Antioch

Bohemond II (* 1108, † 1130) was Prince of Antioch and Taranto. He was the son of the founder of the principality, Bohemond I and his wife Constance of France, daughter of King Philip I. During his minority ruled for him. Tancred of Tiberias, his cousin, (1111-1112), Roger of Salerno (1112-1119) and Baldwin II of Jerusalem ( 1119-1126 ).

In 1126 he came from Apulia to Antioch to take over the government in his principality out of the hand of the king of Jerusalem. The following year he married Alice of Jerusalem, the younger daughter of Baldwin, and participated in the attack on his father-in Damascus in part. In 1128 he lost the Principality of Taranto to Roger II of Sicily. The next year of his reign at Antioch were marked by conflicts with Joscelin I of Edessa and skirmishes on the northern border. 1130 Bohemund's army was defeated by the Danishmends under Gümüştegin, he fell in this battle.

From his marriage with Alice, he left a daughter, Constance of Antioch.
