Bohr (crater)

70.07

Drilling is an impact crater on the western limb of the Moon front page, therefore if at all, only highly distorted from Earth visible. In the north- east it touches the Wall of Vasco da Gama, in the north- east is the crater Einstein. The rim is heavily eroded and partly overlain by younger craters.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1964 by the Danish physicist Niels Bohr.

Southwest of drilling is the Moon Valley Vallis Bohr.
