Boisavia Chablis

The Boisavia B -80 Chablis was a light sport aircraft in the 1950s by the French company Société Boisavia.

History and construction

The Chablis was designed by Lucien Tieles and built by Boisavia. On July 16, 1950, the two-seat monoplane launched its maiden flight. The aircraft was a strutted high-wing aircraft, the open seats were arranged in series and consisted of a simple wooden structure covered with fabric. The machine should be equipped with a variety of motors 50 to 80 horsepower.

Two examples were built of Boisavia. These were powered by a 65 hp (48 kW) Continental A65 boxer engine. The Chablis was vorgesen as a kit, which was also built by amateur together. Lack of interest of potential customers, the development was stopped ..
