Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru

Boku wa Imoto ni Koi o Suru (Japanese僕 は 妹 に 恋 を する, dt "I love my younger sister ") is a Japanese manga illustrator Kotomi Aoki, which was adapted into a film and original video animation.

Content

The plot revolves around the twins Yori and Iku Yūki Yūki, despite their family relationship fall in love. Yori first conceals his love for his sister and tries its best to stay away from her and falling in love with other girls. When he leads a conversation about relationships with Iku, he reacts so jealous of a remark made by her that he confesses his love. Yet you do not want to lose him as a brother.

Publication

The manga was first published in May 2003 to August 2006 in the magazine Shōjo Comic in Japan. The publisher Shogakukan brought the single chapter out in ten anthologies. A French translation of the manga was published by Soleil, he has also been published in Taiwan, Korea and Spain.

From September 2005 to August 2008 a spin-off was titled Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu in the same magazine. The manga includes a total of twelve volumes and has also been translated into French, Spanish and Chinese.

Adaptations

OVA

2005 produced Zoom Enterprise and Vega Entertainment, an original video animation based on the manga. Director was Yukiyo Teramoto, the character design designed Mayumi Nishimoto and the artistic director Makoto Dobashi had stopped. The music is by Susumu Ueda. This 50 -minute anime was released on May 18, 2005 in Japan on DVD.

The manga was adapted in 2007 by Toshiba Entertainment as a film, directed by Hiroshi Ando and by Shogakukan, Toshiba Entertainment, produced Zoom Enterprise and Nippon Television. He was released on 20 January 2007 in Japan and on 1 June 2007 in Taiwan. The main roles are played by Jun Matsumoto (as Yūki Yori ) and Nana Eikura (as Iku Yūki ).
