Bola de Ouro

The Bola de Ouro ( German: Golden Ball) is a Brazilian football award, which is since 1973 by the magazine Placar, awarded annually to the best player of the Campeonato Brasileiro, the Brazilian championship. The price is comparable to that of a footballer of the year in other countries. This day is the award but in competition with the Prêmio Craque do Brasileirão, which has been awarded since 2005 jointly by the Brazilian federation and the television station Rede Globo.

Placar awards after each round of the Series A of evaluations for each player and the Bola de Ouro is awarded at the end of the season to the player the best overall score. This is the variety of playing abroad Brazilian professionals, including almost all national players, not in the standings.

At the bestbenoteten players on each game position, the Bola de Prata ( Silver Ball ) will be given.
