Bolívar Echeverría

Bolívar Echeverría ( born February 2, 1941 in Riobamba, † June 5, 2010 in Mexico City ) was an Ecuadorian- Mexican scientist, philosopher and writer with the work focuses Critical Theory and Philosophy of Culture.

Echeverría studied from 1962 to 1966 at the FU Berlin for the Master of Arts in Philosophy, was awarded in 1974 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ( UNAM ) in Mexico licentiate ( Licenciatura ) in philosophy, in 1991 there Magister ( Maestría ) in Economics and 1997 the doctor of philosophy degree. From 1973 on, he worked at UNAM since 1988 as a Professor at the Facultad de Letras y Filosofía: Faculty of Philosophy and Cultural Studies ( " philology ").
