BolÃvar (footballer)
Fabian Guedes ( born August 16, 1980 Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil), also known as Bolívar, is a Brazilian footballer. Since summer 2006, the defender is at AS Monaco under contract. For the 2008/ 09 season he was loaned to SC Internacional.
Life
Bolívar's professional career began in 1999 when Guarani FC in Brazil. He worked there only for two seasons before he stood over the stations Gremio and Joinville Esporte Clube again for a season at Guarani under contract. In 2001 he won the national championship with Grêmio and the Copa do Brasil. In 2003 he moved to Internacional of Porto Alegre, where he won the state championship of Rio Grande do Sul with the team three times. His biggest success came Bolívar, shortly before his departure from Brazil. With Porto Alegre, he reached the final of the Copa Libertadores in 2006, we sat down with a total score of 3:2 against by São Paulo. With the beginning of season 2006/2007 he took the step to Europe and joined the Ligue 1 representative AS Monaco. The transfer fee was € 3 million. In Monaco, he signed a contract until 2010.

At the very first appearance for his new employer, he managed a hit, into his own goal. Since then, he has steadily brought constant performance and established himself in the center of defense of AS Monaco. In his first season he came on 34 missions and the team reached No. 9 in the league. Although he held a regular place in the second year, Bolívar returned in the summer of 2008 back to Brazil and signed a new contract with his former employer SC Internacional. At this he was loaned for the 2008/ 09 season.
