Bollebygd Municipality

Bollebygd is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the west of Sweden Västra Götaland County and in the historic province of Västergötland. The capital is the city of Bollebygd.

History

The community Bollebygd was first founded in 1952 and brings together in 1971 as part of the Swedish municipal reform with the eastern neighbor municipality of Borås. Since 1995 Bollebygd is an independent municipality again.
