Bolotie

A Bolotie (even cowboy tie laces or tie ) is a type of necktie consisting of a piece of string that is held together by a decorative brooch or clip. The laces tie was designed by Vic Cedar Taff in Wickenburg (Arizona ) and later patented.

In the U.S., this necklace is also called Bola Tie and carried to Cowboy and Western wear. In England this type of tie in the 1950's was popularized by the Teddy Boys as Bootlace Ties.
