The Bolscheochtinski Bridge (Russian Большеохтинский мост ) crosses the Neva river in Saint Petersburg. It connects the city center with the city district Malaya Okhta.
On 26 June 1909 the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Poltava, the bridge was begun with the construction. It received the name " Bridge of Tsar Peter the Great" ( " мост Императора Петра Великого "). On October 26, 1911 the bridge was opened to traffic. After the revolution, the bridge in Bolscheochtenski ( Большеохтенский ), 1954 orthographically correct in Bolscheochtinski Bridge ( Большеохтинский ) has been renamed.
