The Bolwa (Russian Болва ) is a left tributary of the Desna in Russia in the Kaluga oblasts and Bryansk. It rises in the Smolensk - Moscow heights. From the source it has a total length of about 213 km to the mouth. The route from Dyatkovo to Bryansk was navigable in the 19th century. Its catchment area is 4340 km ².
