Bomb tower

A bomb tower is usually a guyed structure with a height of 30 to 210 meters to accommodate a nuclear bomb for an above-ground nuclear weapons testing. The bomb tower has the task of keeping the atomic bomb for the purpose of investigation of their destructive effects ( which depend on detonation height and distance for a given explosive power ) and for the alignment of instruments such as high-speed cameras in a precisely defined position. The bomb tower completely vaporized in the explosion of the atomic bomb by the tremendous heat of the bomb ( up to 20 million Kelvin) as a rule.
