Bombinhas

Bombinhas is a small town with 16,311 inhabitants ( 2014) on an area of ​​34.489 km ² in the state of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil.

Locally, the nature reserve of Arvoredo ( Reserva Biológica Marinha do Arvoredo ), which consists of an archipelago of three islands where the cold Falkland current meets the warm water is Brazilian. The place is located in a bay, which is bounded on both sides by rocky projections. Due to this location, it once served as a pirate haven. Today it lives among others, the water and diving tourism.
