Bonbibi

Bonbibi ( Bengali: বনবিবি, banbibi; translated as: " jungle woman " ) is a regional patron deity is worshiped in the villages of the Sundarbans by both Hindu and Muslim loggers and hunters. It protects the people, particularly wild honey collectors, for example, from attacks by tigers, which are associated with the deity Dakshin Rai.
