Bondelum

Bondelum ( Frisian: Bonlem ) is a municipality in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography and transport

Bondelum is located about 18 km northeast of Husum in the Geest. A few kilometers northwest extends the federal highway 200 from Husum to Flensburg, a few kilometers south of the highway 201 of Husum in Schleswig.

History

Bondelum was first mentioned in the 14th century. From 1866 until April 1, 1934 was a member of the site of the parish church Viöl country.

Economy

The municipal area is predominantly agricultural.
