Bondone

Bondone ( German outdated: bundles in Tirol) is a municipality in the province of Trentino with 668 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012). The community is located on Lake Idro.

The village is located high above the lake in a secluded spot in the mountains. Here leads from the lake, the winding up SP69, which here has come to an end. The district Baitoni lies at the foot of the mountain on the northeast corner of Lake Idro. Here ends the main tributary of the lake, the Chiese, which forms the border with the province of Brescia in the estuary.

Before Bondone, perched on a rocky outcrop, is the Castello San Giovanni.
