Bonnie Lynn Hunt ( born September 22, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actress, comedian, film producer, screenwriter and director.

Life and career

Hunt grew up as a strict Catholic and has six siblings. She attended Catholic schools and was at Notre Dame High School for Girls. In the meantime, she worked as a nurse. In 1986 she became a member of the world-renowned The Second City, a theater group.

Hunt also celebrated success as an actress. Her first major film was Rain Man, it went on to star in a dog named Beethoven, Jumanji or Cheaper By The Dozen and supporting roles in The Green Mile or Jerry Maguire.
