Boodes

Boodes (Greek Βοώδης ) was a member of the Senate of Carthage. He participated in the First Punic War in part ( 264-241 BC) and commanded a portion of the fleet that defeated the Roman fleet BC 260 under the leadership of Hannibal Gisco in the Battle of the Lipari Islands. After the battle the Roman consul Gnaeus Boodes took Cornelius Scipio Asina caught (Source: Polybius, 1, 21, 6).
