Book of Jasher (biblical references)

The Book of Jasher (sometimes book of Jasher, Hebrew: סֶפֶר הַיָּשָׁר ) is a collection of songs mentioned in the Old Testament, which has not survived. The book is mentioned in two places in the Old Testament and there are also the only surviving fragments contain. In Jos 10:13 EU:

And in 2 Sam 1,18 EU, where the subsequent action of David for the death of Saul and Jonathan ( 2 Sam 1, 19-27 ) is specified as part of the book of Jasher:
