Book of Song

The Song Shu (Chinese宋 书/宋 书, Book of Song ' ) is a historical work, which in 100 volumes describes the time of the Chinese ancients Song Dynasty. It is the sixth work from the canon of the 24 dynastic histories and was written by Shen Yue ( 441-513 ) during the Liang Dynasty.

Even at the time of later Song Dynasty parts of the work had been lost and were reconstructed on the basis of material from the history of the Southern Dynasties and smaller annals. The original text was subject most likely outlandish political influences (such as the Xianbei ) and is not conclusive in many places.
