Book paper

Book paper is a machine-finished, wood-free or wood-containing printing paper easily, that's worked with more or less filler at the highest possible volume. In the book production is commonly used for classic black and white books in fiction and nonfiction.

Its weight is usually 80 to 90 g / m².

Today business printing papers are produced in wood-containing and wood-free quality ( raw material is more than 95 % cellulose ) in various colors and surface qualities.

Book printing papers differ from art paper mainly by a higher volume (leaf thickness) with the same blade weight.
