Boomerang (TV channel)

Boomerang is the name of TV channels from the U.S. Cartoon Network Group, which is part of Turner Broadcasting System.

Cartoon Network started with Boomerang a spin -off channel that shows mainly classic animated series from the archives of Warner Bros., Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer and Hanna- Barbera. Outside the U.S., there are in some countries offshoot of the transmitter, as, inter alia, in the UK, Australia, Germany, Spain, France, Brazil and some countries in Eastern Europe.

The German branch has existed since June 1, 2006 and found to comply with its program largely that of the other European Boomerang channel. Boomerang Germany is chargeable in the digital offering of the German cable network operator Kabel Germany, Unity Media, primacom, cable stand and Kabel BW and via satellite in arena and since 1 September 2007 premiere Star -air. On October 31, 2013 Turner announced that Boomerang HD will launch on cable Germany, Telekom Entertain & Tele Club on December 3, 2013.
