Boon Rawd Brewery

Boon Rawd Brewery ( Thai: บริษัท บุญรอด บ ริ ว เว อ รี่ จำกัด ) is the oldest brewery in Thailand. It was founded in 1933 by Boonrawd Srethabutra.

The best-known brand of Boon Rawd brewery is Singha. There are deducted 10,000 hl Singha annually. Until a few years Singha was the largest beer brand in Thailand to Chang Beer ( Thai Beverage ) market leadership took over.

In addition, the following brands are still manufactured and sold: Singha Light, Singha Draft camp, Singha Soda Water, Singha Water, Leo Beer, Thai Beer, Moshi Green Tea, and B- ing Lifestyle.

Boon Rawd bought two German breweries in 1994 Hartmann village ( near Chemnitz ) and Mittweida in Saxony, which has since produce and distribute Singha beer for Europe as well as their other products. Conversely, it was tried with great effort to expel the Mittweida brand in Thailand, but this can be regarded as a failure.

From 1995 to 2009, the brewery had its own airline PB Air, however, was the closure and liquidation On 21 December 2009 requested.
