BOOPSI

BOOPSI stands for " Basic Object Oriented Programming System for Intuition". Intuition is a description of the graphical user interface of the Amiga computer system. BOOPSI expanded intuition to an object-oriented interface.

By BOOPSI objects can be coupled together. For example: the programmer connects an input field for numbers and a slider. This automatically changes the value in the input field when the user moves the slider.

BOOPSI was officially introduced with version 2.0 of the Amiga operating system.

Most newer graphical user interfaces for the Amiga use BOOPSI, especially if they use MUI or Reaction.
