Borba (newspaper)

The Borba ( Борба ) ( Engl. about: " The Battle ") was a Serbian daily newspaper, which was the official newspaper of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia at the time of the SFR Yugoslavia, was established in 1922.

The first issue was published on 19 February 1922 in Zagreb. The sheet was banned on 13 January 1929 after the royal dictatorship had been established. During the Second World War, the newspaper in 1941 brought out a few weeks in liberated by the partisans Užice. In the winter of 1942/43, she appeared in the Bosnian town of Drinić.

After the liberation of Belgrade on November 15, 1944 Borba was issued as the first daily newspaper in the liberated Yugoslav capital. 1948 moved the editors to Zagreb.

When Borba took as publisher, editors, and directors: part Zlatko Šnajder, Vladimir Copic, Ivan Krndelj, Ognjen Prica, Josip Kraš, Veselin Masleša, Marijan Stilinović, Puniša Perovic, Veljko Vlahovic, Vlajko Begovic, Lazar Mojsov, Moma Marković and Vladimir Dedijer.

The Borba was privatized in late 2008, the first revised edition was published on January 15, 2009. During the same year, the show was set.
