The Borbach is a river that flows from Witten- Witten snow where it discharges into the Ruhr.

Name

The Borbach was formerly called Borbecke. There are two settlements Borbach Small and Large Borbach.

Geographical Location

In Witten- snow Borbach springs and flows quickly into the Erlenmeyer pond. Then it flows through the Hasenhölzken and turns in a westerly direction to the Buchholz. This feeds the artificial three ponds in a recreation area Buchholz.
