The Borg el- ʿ Arab (Arabic إستاد برج العرب, DMG istad burǧ al - ʿ arab referred to as Egyptian Army Stadium ) is a stadium opened in 2007 in the Egyptian Mediterranean resort, Borg El Arab, about 50 kilometers west of Alexandria. The stadium is located on the desert highway between Cairo and Alexandria, about ten kilometers away from Borg El Arab Airport.

Originally the stadium was planned as one of five host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2010, for which Egypt had applied. It was planned and built by the engineer corps of the Egyptian army.

In 2009 the stadium served as the venue for the Junior World Cup. However, only the opening ceremony and the opening match between Egypt and Trinidad and Tobago were held.
