Boris Prokopič

Boris Prokopič ( born March 29, 1988 in Poprad ) is an Austrian footballer of Slovak origin. He plays in central midfield and is the Austrian second division side SC Rheindorf Altach been under contract since 2013.

Career

By the age of 17 years Boris Prokopič played in his youth club SV Horn. In the summer of 2004, he then joined the youth of the SK Rapid Wien, where he became at the age of 17 years to the amateurs. There he played until he was called up by coach Peter Pacult into the first team in the summer of 2008. On 9 July 2008, he was the first game of the season against SK Sturm Graz to use, where he played the first half and was then changed to the new signing Nikica Jelavic. It was only in the 36th and final round came Prokopic used again, after he had suffered from a pubic bone inflammation and a herniated disc.

After he came in the 2009/10 season only in the second team of the Green-Whites used, he moved in the Winter 2009-2010 on loan to FC Wacker Innsbruck in the second highest Austrian league.

In January 2011, Boris came back to SK Rapid Wien and, after a few games at the Green-Whites in January 2013 for SC Rheindorf Altach in the First League.
