Boris Tomashevsky

Boris Viktorovich Tomaschewski (Russian Борис Викторович Томашевский, scientific transliteration Boris Viktorovič Tomaševskij; * 17 Novemberjul / November 29 1890greg, .. † August 24, 1957 ) was a Russian literary critic. He participated in the Russian formalism of the 1920s at the University of Leningrad at the Institute of Russian Literature in the 1930s. Its importance as a theorist, as the author of the theory of literature is undisputed.
