Borja Valero Iglesias ( born June 18, 1985 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player. His former position is the midfield.

Career

Borja Valero began his footballer career in the youth of the small Madrid club AD Villa Rosa. At age 12, he moved to the youth of Real Madrid. With these he went through various youth categories, before he was taken in summer 2005 in the cadre of the Second Team Real Madrid Castilla. His debut in the first team, he celebrated in the Spanish Cup on 25 October 2006 against Ecija Balompié. On 6 December the same year he also ran in the Champions League group game on against Dynamo Kiev for the " Royal ".

In summer 2007, Borja Valero joined RCD Mallorca and a year later finally in the English Premier League for West Bromwich Albion. There he played a season and was then re- loaned out to RCD Mallorca.
