Boro (Formula One)

Boro is the name of a British Formula 1 racing car, which was reported in 1976 and 1977 to each Formula 1 race.

The Boro 001 was developed in 1975 by the British Ensign team and made in one copy. In the Formula 1 1975 season the car was used under the name Ensign N175 from Team Ensign factory in some World Cup races in the Formula 1. Drivers were Wunderink Roelof and Chris Amon.

After a dispute with the previous sponsor of the team Ensign had the car to the sponsor, the Dutch security company HB Bewaking system cede. The sponsor then founded in the Dutch municipality of Bovenkerk own Formula 1 team called HB Bewaking system that the car - reported in 1976 with Larry Perkins and 1977 with Brian Henton to each Formula 1 race - now called Boro 001.

In some statistics, not only the cars, but also the team is led itself under the name of Boro.
