Boron phosphate is an inorganic chemical compound of boron from the group of phosphates.

Production and representation

Boron phosphate can be obtained by reaction of boric acid with phosphoric acid.

Properties

Boron is a light gray solid which is sparingly soluble in water. It is insoluble in dilute acids and soluble in caustic alkalis. It crystallizes tetragonal (a = 43.32 pm, c = 66.40 pm ).
