Borstel, Schleswig-Holstein
Borstel is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein. It is located in a densely wooded area.
Policy
Since the local elections of 2008, the voters Community KWV all seven seats in the municipal council.

Blazon: "In a green solid like a Romanesque round arch window golden hills, in a red half-timbered house, including a holly (Ilex aquifolium ) with three green leaves and five red fruits. "
Economy
The community is predominantly agricultural, but there are also commuters, especially after Itzehoe, Bad Bramstedt and Hamburg.

- Karsten Huck ( b. 1945 ) has won at the Olympic Games in Seoul 1988 the bronze medal in show jumping.
