Boryslav Brondukov

Boryslaw Mykolaiowytsch Brondukow (Ukrainian Борислав Миколайович Брондуков, Russian Борислав Николаевич Брондуков / Borislav Nikolayevich Brondukow; born March 1, 1938 at the village Dubawa, Ukrainian SSR, † 10 March 2004 Bykownja village, Ukraine) was a Soviet and Ukrainian actor.

Life

Boryslaw Brondukow was born on 1 March 1938 at the village Dubawa in Kiev Pechersk district, the son of a Russian father and a Polish mother.

He graduated from the Kiev vocational school for construction. Initially he worked as a foreman on the building, then the Arsenal plant Kyiv, where he played in the popular theater. There he was discovered by the Rector of the Karpenko - Kary Theatre Institute and invited to his institute.

His film debut Boryslaw Brondukow in 1962 in the film by Sergei Parajanov, " Zwetok na Kamne ". In 1968 he received the diploma of the third Union widths Film Festival for the tragic role of the thief in the film by Leonid Ossyk, " Kamenny Krest ".

Brondukow was mostly known for his roles episode, where he performed as a rule as an alcoholic, or ne'er-do -nothing, and seemed very realistic and charming. He is best known in the role of the alcoholic Fedul ( "Let the times Afonja make ", 1975), as Inspector Lestrade in the miniseries " The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson" ( 1979-1986 ) and as the bridegroom ( " The Garage " (1980)). Leading roles he refused happy if they did not like him. Brondukow appeared in over 100 films. About 40 rolls of Brondukow were doing dubbed by other actors.

Brondukow suffered a stroke in 1984. Later he had two heart attacks and an amputation of the hematoma. His last film role was in 1997 film " Hippiniada, ili Materik ljubwi ". After the third stroke in 1997 Brondukow could not speak or walk, and was cared for by his wife Ekaterina. Boryslaw Brondukow died on 10 March 2004 and was buried at the cemetery in Kiev Bajkowoe.
