Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-17 football team

The Bosnia-Herzegovina U -17 National Team is the official selection of the best U -17 football players from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

History

In the U -17 European Championship qualifier 1997-1998 Bosnia-Herzegovina U -17 national football team for the first time took part in a qualification. Bosnia - Herzegovina finished 4th and thus retired prematurely.

Until the U17 European Championship qualifiers from 2006 to 2007 in Spain, the young Bosnian national difference every time in the first qualifying round. But 2006-2007 should change everything. In qualifying we managed Surprisingly, the first place in Group 11 Second Slovakia was third, and fourth place went to Wales Moldova. However, in the elite round could not prevail and was 4th place. The first occupied England, second and third Serbia Azerbaijan.

Another year later, they were back in the elite round. In group 7 to hit the Netherlands, Hungary and Norway. In the first game Bosnia defeated the Netherlands 0-1 with a goal by Fazlic. The second game against Hungary they parted with 2:2. In the third match against Norway Bosnia was a victory for the first time to participate in a European Championship U -17, but they lost that game 2-0. A small success is the U- 17, however. It won the 2006 Balkan Juniors Cup in their own country. Here you defeated Slovenia 2-0 in the quarterfinals. Croatia has been turned off in the semifinals after a thrilling game in the semifinals. After the regular time it was 1-1, as then in the extension was decided by a 4:3 everything. In the final they defeated Turkey 1-0, the goal came here already in the 1st Minute.
