Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-21 football team

The Bosnia-Herzegovina U -21 National Team is the official selection of the best U -21 football players from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

History

In the U -21 European Championship qualifier 1996-1998 Bosnia-Herzegovina U -21 national football team participated in a qualification for the first time. The first victory in the history of the Bosnian U -21 national team they managed against Croatia with a score of 3:1. However, it came in 5th place in the group and retired.

Until the U21 European Championship qualifiers from 2006 to 2007 in the Netherlands, the Bosnian national junior different every time out in the first qualifying round. But this time the team reached in the qualifying round alongside Norway and Armenia the first place.

In the playoffs they met on the Czech Under-21 national team. With a goal by Daniel Kolář in the 33rd minute you lay 0-1 in arrears. Sejad Salihović made a surprise equalizer, but Roman Hubník scored in the 70th minute nor the 1:2 for the Czech Republic.

In the return match at the stadium Koševo (Sarajevo) it looked after 52 minutes of good for the Bosnia-Herzegovina U -21 National Team, Sejad Salihović brought the team in the lead. In the 82nd minute, the Czechs were able to shoot through Tomáš Frejlach the compensation which the end for the Bosnia-Herzegovina U -21 national team meant by the away rule.
