Bosnia Vilayet

The Vilayet was an Ottoman vilayet of Bosnia, based mainly on the territory of present-day state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the Today A split between Serbia and Montenegro, Sanjak of Novi Pazar. History

The vilayet was created in 1864 as part of the Tanzimat administration reform ( Teşkil -i Vilayet Nizamnâmesi ) from the Eyalet Bosnia.
