Bossard Arena

EV train

The Bossard Arena is the home stadium of the EV train in the National League A. The Arena is one of 7015 seats, of which 4280 seats and 2735 standing. It was inaugurated in August 2010. The Block Screw Dealers Bossard has secured the naming rights for ten years. On the roof there is also a 3000 square meter solar power plant, which produces around 200,000 kWh of electricity. Along with numerous parking areas in front of the building is the stadium with a nearby light rail station - train guardian angel - and provided some ZVB bus stops. For Fanbusse there is the General Guisan its own bus station, with extra additions for visiting fans to their general admission area. The arena is in common with the attached, 63 -meter-high Uptown high-rise part of the train west development program.

Shortly after the opening of the Swiss Figure Skating Championships were held in December 2011.
