Botanical Gardens of Tirana

The Botanical Garden (Albanian Kopshti Botany) in Tirana, the Albanian capital, is the only of the country. It is located west of the artificial lake in the south of Tirana.

The Botanical Gardens of Tirana was established in 1971 and is maintained by the University of Tirana. Covering an area of ​​15 hectares, it is home to about 1,400 plant species and sub-species.
