Botswana at the 2012 Summer Olympics
Botswana took part in London at the 2012 Olympic Games. It was the ninth overall participation in the Olympic Summer Games. The Botswana National Olympic Committee nominated four athletes in two sports.
Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Amantle Montsho.
The 800 -meter runner Nijel Amos took the 2nd place in the final and thus gained the first Olympic medal for Botswana since their first attempt in 1980.
