Botswana National Stadium

The National Stadium of Botswana (English Botswana National Stadium ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Gaborone, capital of Botswana. Football matches are played Mainly there; it is the national stadium.

The playing field is surrounded by racing tracks and a baseball field, which is found outside of the stands to the east. The ballpark, which has been unused for long periods, has been now converted into a tennis court.

The stadium holds 22,500 spectators and is the largest stadium in Botswana. It has ten tribunes, three of which are covered. Each three large grandstands form the northern and the southern end of the stadium. At the west end of the stadium are the only three covered stands, whereas there is a very large grandstand on the east.
