Boua

Boua or Bua ( full title Brhat Chao Buvana; * in the 18th century, † 1853 in Bangkok ), the designated governor was Prince ( Chao Mueang Nakhon Champasak ) of the Kingdom of Champasak. He died before its official establishment.

Boua was a grandson of Maha Uparat ( viceroy ) Tammatevo Pudisatkhattinarat of Champasak, who held the position 1728-1768. After the death of the Prince Governor Nark in the year 1850/51 Boua was built by King Rama III. appointed by Siam as his successor. The celebrations of the establishment of dragged on, however, so that Boua in 1853 died without officially ruled.

Following Bouas death followed a brief period of confusion, while the Prince Suriya as Maha Uparat reigned and a short time later ( 1855) died. He was followed by the third son of Prince Huy, Yutti Thammasunthon after.
