Boukha

The Boukha is a spirit that is obtained in Tunisia from figs.

It is produced by simple distillation of figs from the Mediterranean and reached 36 to 40 percent alcohol by volume.

Boukha is pure as an aperitif, served heated or cooled. It may also be the basis of many cocktails, season fruit salads or be drunk in room temperature as a digestif.
