Boulder County, Colorado

Boulder County [ boʊldɚ ] is a ( County) northwest of the city of Denver in the State of Colorado of the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Boulder.

Boulder, which translates into German with Boulder, is one of the 16 original counties of Colorado, whose number has now grown to 64. In 2001, the city lost Boulder Broomfield, the Denver now provides as an independent municipality in Colorado.

History

Historical buildings

The historic Denver, Boulder and Western Railway Historic District (also known as the Switzerland Trail of America to German: " Path of the Swiss America 's"), located in and around Ward, is a historic trail area in Boulder County. Geography

The County is surrounded from the north clockwise from Larimer, Weld, Broomfield, Jefferson, Gilpin and Grand.
