Boulevard Haussmann

Boulevard Haussmann is a boulevard in Paris, which lies at the crossroads of the Boulevard des Italiens and the Boulevard Montmartre on the Avenue de Friedland.

With a length of 2530 meters, the Boulevard Haussmann runs through the 8th and 9th arrondissement. It runs through parts of the city, where you will find the main offices of banks and department stores, associated with which one of the Boulevard Haussmann today often.

The boulevard is named after Georges -Eugène Haussmann, the Paris middle of the 19th century gave a modern cityscape, which is preserved to this day.

In a mansion, 158 Boulevard Haussmann, is the Musée Jacquemart -André. The museum has a large art collection, which ranges from old Italian masterpieces up to the French work of the 19th century.
