Boulogne (river)

The Boulogne is a river in France, which runs in the departments of Vendée and Loire -Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire. It rises in the municipality of Saint- Martin-des -Noyers, drained generally in a north-westerly direction, reached the Pays de Retz and ends after 87 kilometers below from Saint -Philbert -de- Grand -Lieu in the Lac de Grand -Lieu. This wetland is one worth preserving natural landscape that is registered under Natura 2000, under code FR5200625. The only outlet of this lake is the river Acheneau, the Boulogne can therefore be seen as a tributary of the Acheneau.
