Boulsa

Boulsa is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the region Centre- North and the province Namentenga. The municipality has 33 villages and six sectors of the capital of 81 967 inhabitants, the majority Mossi.

Boulsa was up to the conquest by the French at the end of the 19th century an independent kingdom.
