Bourdeaux

Bourdeaux is a commune in the Drôme department in the Rhône -Alpes. The residents of the community are called Bourdelois.

Geography

Bourdeaux is about 25 km east of Montelimar. The 23.11 km ² large municipality is crossed by the river Roubion. It includes agricultural land and forest land. The main settlement is a picturesque village center from the 15th century. There are also some smaller farmsteads and hamlets to Bourdeaux.

Population

With 616 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) Bourdeaux rather one of the smaller communities in the department of Drôme. In 1962, the municipality still 613 inhabitants, after which the number decreased in the 1960s and 70s to 536 in 1975. During the last 30 years, small fluctuations were only recorded.
