Bourg -en -Lavaux is since July 1, 2011, a municipality in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.
Geography
Bourg -en -Lavaux located in the vineyards of Lavaux on the north shore of Lake Geneva, about 15 kilometers east of Lausanne and 10 kilometers west of Vevey. The municipality is bordered to the north by Savigny VD, on the northeast by Forel ( Lavaux), to the east by Puidoux, on the south by Lake Geneva and to the west by Lutry.
History
The municipality of Bourg -en -Lavaux arose from the communities Cully, Epesses, Grandvaux, Riex and Villette.
