Boust
Boust ( German Bust, Lorraine Buscht ) is a commune with 1143 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Thionville -Est and Canton Cattenom.
Geography
The community Boust lies about eight kilometers north of Thionville, at an altitude 166-259 m above sea level. The municipality covers 7.01 km ². The municipality Boust includes the three east in the valley of the Boler villages Basse- Parthe ( Niederparth ), Haute- Parthe ( Oberparth ) and Usselskirch.
History
The area has been since 1759, with an interruption from 1871 to 1918 ( National Rural Alsace- Lorraine), France.
